A big thank you to all my clients for the trust placed in me by implementing your financial plans through me as well as for the recommendations to your family & friends. I’m very blessed and grateful for the opportunity to service you, your family and friends in this aspect of financial advisory.
I began my financial advisory journey about 17 years ago in 2002 after a career change from audit at Ernst & Young. I joined this industry as I wanted a career that can make a meaningful impact in people’s lives which I couldn’t do in my role as an auditor.
When clients make a claim for a serious illness, there are mixed feelings of sadness and relief. Sadness because most of them are in their 30s & 40s when they are commonly stricken with cancer and they are still in their prime and have families to support, whether it’s their young children or parents. It’s a relief to know they have insurance protection to help them with the medical bills so that they have less worries during their treatment so that they can concentrate on getting well. That is one of the most fulfilling moments of this job.
Being in Vision Advisory has been great as the group is able to leverage on the many talents available in the leaders, advisers and admin to provide support in areas of welfare, marketing, training, business & leisure activities to ensure we can do a great job for our clients. If you would like to find out more about VA or this career in general, drop me an email and let’s talk.
